The Tasmanian Government has committed to advance the Master Plan for Richmond Road, the next stage of work is located between Dry Creek and Grasstree Hill Road.
Improvements will better cater for all road users in particular heavy vehicles and cyclists, the project is currently in the concept design stage, which will be completed by mid 2020 with construction to begin shortly thereafter.
During the concept design stage there will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the safety of workers and road user while conducting test pitting and surveying the road reserve.
