The Rotary club of Kings Meadows (supported by the Van Diemen Project, the Department of Jobs and Small Business and AusIndustry) has organised an Employment Day at the Grand Chancellor in Launceston on 25 September from 8.30am -4.30pm.
The Rotary Employment Day connects N and NE Tasmanian Year 10, 11 and 12 students enrolled in government, Independent and Catholic schools and colleges and job seekers aged 18-24 who are seeking employment with an employer who has a vacant position.
The aim of the day is to assist our youth into employment and provide employers with the opportunity to interview job seekers in a one day tailored event. For the school students, the aim is for the position to commence later in 2107 or early 2018.
If your business has a position/s or apprenticeship that you would like filled and you can attend the event on 25 September to interview prospective employees, for more information contact Leaha Dent on 6367005883 or via Leaha.Dent@industry.gov.au
