TFGA congratulates new minister

The Tasmanian Farmers and Grazier Association has congratulated the State’s new Minister for Primary Industries and Water Sarah Courtney.

“We look forward to working closely with the new Minister on behalf of the agricultural community in Tasmania,” TFGA CEO Peter Skillern said.

“We will also be looking to meet with the new Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management Michael Ferguson within the next couple of weeks, and we congratulate him on his new role.”

Mr Skillern paid tribute to Jeremy Rockliff and Rene Hidding.

“At the TFGA we have worked very closely with Ministers Rockliff and Hidding over a number of years now and, as ministers, they have both been great supporters of Tasmanian agriculture,” he said.

“We wish them well in their new roles.”
