Boost for Tasmanian land owners

The state’s peak farming organisation welcomes the announcement by Minister Rockliff of the 1.8 million Landcare Grant program today at Sheffield.

“We are thrilled to be working with the State Government and Landcare Tasmania,” Mr Nick Steel acting CEO for the TFGA said.
“This program will assist land owners to further increase their contribution towards conservation and sustainable agriculture on farm including landscape and river health and land management practices. Farmers are known as one of the largest investors of public good natural resource management activities and through this program will continue that outstanding work.”
