Tasmanian Irrigation are holding landholder information sessions in the Kindred Hall, 735 Kindred Road.
The water sales period for the scheme opened on Thursday 2nd February and will close on 12.00 noon, Thursday, 15 March 2012.
Individual landholders are able to talk to TI and TFGA representatives about the water sales process and receive information about the proposed irrigation scheme.

Tasmanian Minister for Climate Change to Give Opening Address at EUAA’s 2012 Tasmanian Energy Forum (21/02/12)
The EUAA is pleased to announce that Ms Cassy O’Connor, MP, Minister for Climate Change in the Tasmanian Government, has agreed to give the Opening Address at this year’s Tasmanian Energy Forum being held in Hobart on Thursday, 1st March. “With climate change and energy issues increasingly inter-related and the Tasmanian energy sector facing unprecedented future challenges, it is very timely for the Minister to give this address and set the scene for the Forum. We look forward to welcoming her and listening to her speak,” the Executive Director of the EUAA, Roman Domanski said. “We are also fortunate that the Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change, Mr Matthew Groom, is also speaking again this year.”

Tasmanian Energy Sector Leaders Confirmed to Speak at 2012 Tasmanian Energy Forum:
The EUAA is pleased to confirm that several key energy sector leaders will be speaking at its 2012 Tasmanian Energy Forum, being held in Hobart on Thursday 1st March. This includes:
• Dr Peter Davis, CEO of Aurora Energy, Tasmania’s largest energy retailer and the operator of its distribution network. Aurora is also the Major Sponsor of the event.
• Mr Steve Davey, Chief Commercial Operator off Hydro Tasmania, the State’s largest generator
• Mr Adrian Christian, CEO, Electricity Supply Industry Expert Panel, which is reviewing the Tasmanian electricity industry and issued its draft report in December
