The Tasmanian Farmers & Graziers Association (TFGA) is the peak agricultural body representing the interests of Tasmanian farmers and there is no organisation better positioned to represent the concerns and needs of our agricultural sector. It is vital that all farmers, irrespective of their size, are members of TFGA and are represented as an important part of Tasmanian agriculture and the economy.
Today the TFGA remains the same as it has been in its various forms over the past century. TFGA is the sum of its members, not board members or office bearers who come and go over the years. We exist to make a difference and we do this by standing together. No one needs to tell a farmer about honest hard work and no one needs to tell the farmer's organisation about it either. Together let us focus on strengthening TFGA in order to protect farming in Tasmania.
TFGA's key purpose is to ensure a positive business environment for its members by providing effective representation, leadership to industry and communication with stakeholders. We also have a close affiliation with
National Farmers Federation, Sheepmeat Council of Australia, Cattle Council of Australia, Australian Dairy Farmers, WoolProducers Australia and AusVeg.
Through these affiliations we are able to ensure that Tasmania's views and
issues are considered at a
national and international level.
The TFGA offers benefits to all members. These include our FarmCard, which is designed to provide members with
identifiable discounts on purchases. We also have alliances with a number of sponsors and business partners who proudly support the Association. If you wish to know more please click on the Members Benefits button on the left hand menu.
If you wish to become a member of the Tasmanian Farmers & Graziers Association
