Quarantine Tasmania - Export Industry
Following recent examination of Quarantine WA (QWA) import requirements for ware and seed potatoes and subsequent clarification with QWA, Quarantine Tasmania (QT) advise that for the moment Western Australia cannot accept potatoes from Tasmania. It is understood that this may not affect many potato producers, but acknowledged that those who do sell to that market now face a challenge.
