WFI team ready to help with insurance claims
The summer months have unfortunately brought bushfires, storms and other events across Australia - see the WFI media release for more information.
A timely reminder to be bushfire prepared
For much of the year the country provides a tranquil setting and the best that nature has to offer. However, as we tragically learn each year, this way of life also comes with a high risk of bushfire. Losses experienced through bushfire can be devastating. Your local Fire Services will do everything in their capacity to manage the situation, but every householder should also play an active part in protecting their own home.
In the event of a bushfire a predetermined plan can help to prevent panic and last-minute decisions being made. It will allow you to make informed decisions, consequently reducing the risk of injury, death, and damage to your property.
Don’t forget the importance of regularly reviewing your insurances to ensure you are adequately covered, should the unexpected happen. Visit www.wfi.com.au for more information.

Contractors – Check your Cover!
Farmers are often looking for alternative ways to support their family and supplement their farming income. Undertaking contract work on someone else’s property is one way that some TFGA members have successfully achieved this goal. Utilising existing skills on another farm or within another business has proved to be a great opportunity for many farmers.
However, one thing you may not have considered is whether your insurance covers you when contracting off-farm. A standard farm insurance policy may not provide the specific types of cover required for the risks associated with undertaking work off your own property. It’s not a bad idea therefore, to have a quick review of your insurances. Contact WFI, alliance partner of TFGA, for more information on 1300 934 934 or visit www.wfi.com.au
Commercial and residential strata insurance are now under the one roof.

Adding to the existing range of rural, business and home and car insurance, WFI is pleased to offer you a choice when it comes to such a diverse and specialised form of insurance.
